The cur the Carissa moment, we're gonna we're gonna get into it. It was a pretty classic moment. We understand this to be her last lap around the WSL tour, at least for now. That's that's that's the understanding. And she's winning events, right? And we had a kind of broken up last lap laps, last lapse with the goat, and he provided some moments, but Riss is in the is in a different space and time than the goat was when he stepped away. And yeah, it's fun to watch. Um, so good. You're right. Coming to the baby on the beach. I mean, how many of our women surfers have been able to do that? And that's not not always to their fault, but now it could be opening up a new level of you know, mom game out in the surf.

Uh I mean, that was not fun to watch. There was one maybe one day of like decent surf they very hands. Um all the days surrounding it looked pretty fun. If they could figure that out, I don't know. I just think of like we lost J Bay to it. J Bay was pumping during this contest. I think if J Bay came back, I could see like if you're gonna replace like a trestles with it before that. Um that's how I feel.

I mean, the days leading up to it, the like barrel section into a bunch of good turns, it just like it looked insane, and then all of a sudden it was horrible for ten days straight, which you know, that's how that's how the ocean works, but um yeah, it was a shame to see that. I I hope I hope if they bring it back, obviously, that they can get get a better one done.

Yeah, I think for what the WSL is trying to do, if you're going for left-hand wave, this versus GLAN where there's nobody out there. Because I will say that people showed up, the Groms were stoked, they did all the activations, the country looked great. Yeah, so I can understand from a marketing perspective whether it's Raglan always, or like we rotate some of these like places that love surfing. Like, we're gonna show up. That's a good point. And let's hope it's good. And if it's not, whatever, we we maybe move on. And Raglan did get really unlucky, yeah, like exceptionally unlucky. Um, yeah, I would give it one more shot. Um, yeah, what we saw wasn't great, but the country seemed fired up, and that's good for surfing. So yeah, I guess.

I give it a yes in that I want to see a left on tour. This is cool. It's not a reef pass uh barreling left, it's a rippable left, like a trestles-like left. And I think it opened up uh just different uh angles and levels to everyone surfing. And I think it got really unlucky, and I think if they do it again the next five years, it probably won't be this bad in the same window. Right. Um so I'm a reluctant yes that it belongs on tour. Um and I enjoyed it. Granted, uh like probably most of us lost lost interest because of the lulls and the poor heats. But um yeah, it looks super fun, like in that it's like is this a world-class wave? Would I love to be out there right now? Absolutely, yeah.

No one's debating or arguing does trestles belong to be on tour. I think everyone would say yes. Is it bizong? It's still belong to be the pinnacle like it was for three years now. But um yeah, it's all I see it the same way, and it's a left, which is there's so few lefts on tour that aren't just barely.

You gotta surf them all. You surf Tahiti and you surf Raglan. So yeah, I back it. Good, good call. I like the I like the events being somewhat close together. It's low travel time, yeah. Um whether it however that works for surfers, but like we went from uh Australian Lake to New Zealand. Bang to bang, and we had a good Gold Coast event, and like we had an okay Raglan event, and like there's a couple clips that are good, but there's just a lot of downtime. So you know what are you gonna do? But we're uh we're we're going uh you know across the ocean to warmer waters. Yeah, there is a massive like 50-year storm out there in the Pacific right now that is gonna be pumping some surf in all over all over the western seaboard. Uh, some of it probably being unmanageable, but uh we're looking at some waves, so yeah, we are. We should get into our picks.

I don't see like a lot in the tier C that I would say would have that. Morg had the best. Worth sacrificing the the easy points, yeah, for sure. Um he's up against Griff.
